Global Gastroeconomy Summit
A Global and Interdisciplinary View of the Gastronomy Value Chain.
Gastronomy is no longer just a taste journey; it has evolved into a multi-layered development strategy encompassing economy, culture, innovation, and sustainability. In its fifth year, the Global Gastroeconomy Summit further develops and carries forward this vision, placing gastronomy at the center of innovative economies, cultural heritage, and social transformation.
A pioneering event in Turkey and globally, the summit, with its unparalleled reach that nurtures visionary curiosity for knowledge, will be hosted by TURYID (Tourism, Restaurant Investors, and Gastronomy Businesses Association) on October 8, 2025, at our iconic meeting point, the Atatürk Cultural Center.
The “Intersection Point” is where paths intersect, ideas collide, and disciplines interpenetrate. This concept signifies not only geographical or cultural boundaries, but also a place where senses, memory, nature, and economy intertwine, and new meanings are born. Gastronomy is no longer merely a food and drink practice; it is a multilayered space of memory, a translation of our relationship with nature, and a mirror of our economic behavior. A taste, a product, or a table both embodies the past and shapes the future. In this sense, the “intersection point” is not a temporal or spatial coincidence, but rather a mental encounter.
This year’s axis of our summit proposes to re-read the cyclicity of nature and the evocative power of human memory through a trace left on the palate. This is where taste and emotion, plants and geography, story and strategy converge. This conceptual nexus offers us the opportunity to consider gastronomy not merely as a sector, but as a form of narrative, a tool of diplomacy, and a model of development.
The 5th Global Gastro-Economy Summit will be held on October 8, 2025, at the Atatürk Cultural Center.
